Mark Twain

I found this quote yesterday by Mark Twain. I've heard parts of it before but never the whole thing. It goes: "Dance like no one is watching. Sing like no one is listening. Love like you've never been hurt and live like it's heaven on Earth."
Wouldn't this world be a better place if we followed his advice?

Yes! If you can get your hands on a copy of An Altar in the World by Barbara Brown Taylor, buy it. You'll love it. I find it SO affirming when the Lord sings the same beckoning songs to the blog sisters! I'm going to look at your pictures now and pick out my treasure!

I LOVE Willows on a Pond! My young parents planted many trees in the yards around our childhood home. The weeping willow grew so fast and its trunk got fatter and fatter as we all grew up and went away. It was my very favorite tree. All your photos are amazing, Debbie!

I really like this quote and have not heard that list bit with it before. I did not realize it was said by Mark Twain either. I just got back from a funeral of a friend. This seems to be especially good advice to me right now.
