A Cool Photo

There was this little Catholic church close to our B & B in St. Mary's, GA where we stayed before going over to Cumberland Island.  It was surrounded by a white picket fence that had crosses attached to the top at regular intervals.

As we were walking back from eating that night, I saw one of the crosses' shadow on the side of the church.  Since I had 3200 speed film in my camera, it came out really well even though it was very dark.  Cool, huh?

That is cool! What I want to know is, how did you just happen to have 3200 speed film in your camera?

I'd like to learn how to do low light photography! I'm pretty much digital now, but still, my low light photos aren't so great.

Oh, and I might not have gotten around to commenting on your last post. I haven't been to Cumberland Island, but I've heard it's just gorgeous. I picture it looking much like nearby Sapelo Island. I took a very memorable trip there once with a UGA science class. It was extremely lush (in an overly fecund, civilization quickly goes back to nature way) and completely deserted! Your huge tree photo and the ruins capture the feeling well.
