This old Mason jar is one my grandma used. I love the diamond pattern. It makes lovely refracted patterns when the sun shines through.
The books are all about motherhood. I haven't read many of them, because I'm always too busy BEING a mother to read about how to be one! I learned motherhood in the trenches. I always prayed (and still do), "Lord, help me to be the best mother I can be. Help the children to remember and good and forget the bad. And God, please fill in the cracks."

Oh, so pretty. There is a lady in our neighborhood who has big blue blooms on her plan and I just marvel at them because everything else here is wilted and not doing so well. She must water them constantly. Love that jar!!!
I love the jar, too! Oh, we can't grow hydrangeas here. Drat. Sometimes I consider buying them at the grocery store.
We planted three hydrangeas behind our back porch this summer; can't wait until they get big and start to blossom.
By the way, I love your tea cups up in the header. Did you take that picture? Beautiful!

Yes, Frances. I take all the photos on my blog unless otherwise stated. Thanks for the compliment. I loved the kite photo I previously had in the banner, but fall is coming. Figured it was time to lost the beach photo.
