But in the morning, I'd always rather have...coffee. :-)

I didn't know anyone but me had read Susan Howatch's books. :-) And it was a long time ago. I did stop after the fourth one, I think, because they seemed to spiral downward. But the first one, especially, was a good one for me to read at the time. It reminded me that even the clergy are human and our trust should always be in God alone.Cranberry Morninghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10758563068581561194noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1368793710186704163.post-42940697853092881812012-07-14T21:32:52.133-04:002012-07-14T21:32:52.133-04:00Deb, thank you for telling me where to find the Yo...Deb, thank you for telling me where to find the Yorkshire Gold. I do love cream!
PG Tips is strong and tasty and even though our Australian friends scoff at Earl Grey, I like that, too!
Once I was invited to an English friend's house for tea. She served it on plain every day dishes and it didn't taste any different. I think we had some sort of crumpets but they were nothing out of the ordinary. That's what I get for living in a fairy tale most of the time, I guess!
I was just reading The Blue Bedroom by Rosamunde Pilcher and she makes tea time sound wondrous.Pom Pomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01524994024698986829noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1368793710186704163.post-49039342427633308612012-07-14T10:09:50.075-04:002012-07-14T10:09:50.075-04:00We never talked about the tea yesterday!
