You could paint a floor cloth runner in diagonal checks in dark blue for the laundry and a matching one for under the table. This would unify the two rooms and cover the area that gets the most wear. I just wipe my floor cloths with a damp sponge. Very low maintainence. I wish I were there to help. I am starting a new floor cloth now with centtral checks and a pomegranate and leaf border. Have fun.
PatPathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06487050747280329162noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1368793710186704163.post-80679303650174810102009-07-06T15:42:39.210-04:002009-07-06T15:42:39.210-04:00I wouldn't do anything. My husband would be all up for painting them, I'm sure.

I'm back from my travels and somewhat recuperated. I haven't felt motivated to blog in weeks. I work at Pomegranate W, TH, F of this week, and next week my brother and his family will be in Brunswick. When I know more about their schedule, I'll touch base with you about our bookmaking project.

Love,
KKatyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04119219365983102790noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1368793710186704163.post-53942260257793470792009-07-06T11:17:24.280-04:002009-07-06T11:17:24.280-04:00I say paint them both. Besides why cover up beautiful hardwood floors, even if they are painted. : )Marissahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02934159712335154232noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1368793710186704163.post-40039554264912393362009-07-06T10:06:07.751-04:002009-07-06T10:06:07.751-04:00Emma and I vote for black and white checks on both...Emma and I vote for black and white checks on both, although I'm sure either will look good.

Angie WilsonAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1368793710186704163.post-3462321824509240392009-07-05T07:46:52.370-04:002009-07-05T07:46:52.370-04:00Both!! paint the black and white checkerboard and...Both!! paint the black and white checkerboard and then do a cute floor cloth with bright cherries or flowers or...raspberries!Melissahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16234027348060609500noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1368793710186704163.post-67998862587544160582009-07-04T20:42:27.191-04:002009-07-04T20:42:27.191-04:00I like the idea of a floor cloth, that maybe has b...I like the idea of a floor cloth, that maybe has black and white checkers in it. :)Misti Aldrichhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01788284418842365678noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1368793710186704163.post-84220058649015503642009-07-04T09:33:14.770-04:002009-07-04T09:33:14.770-04:00paint!
